My one piece Khopesh style short sword is done. This is made from a 1” round bard of 5160 spring steel.

I upset the pommel and guard at the @fire_iron_forge hammer-in using his induction forge and with a little help from @iron_saga_forge_works with a sledge hammer.

I then put my new hydraulic press (The MAW) to work flattening it and pressing in fullers. It would have taken me days to do it by hand, but the press has it done in an hour. Once flat, I then curved it by hand and forged in the bevels. I then ground about a pound of steel off of it.

I haven't weighed it, but it's still hefty and is 24" overall. What a fun project for the Spokane County Fair.
